It would be helpful to set an automation symbol instead of a "=" or the system name in the Supporting Resource of the APLs in the policy

We have an APL (IE01FD1) that has a Supporting Resource (IE01CTL). Since the Supporting Resource runs on different systems (X21, Y21 and Z21), we must define the APL three times (IE01FD1_PLEXX, IE01FD1_PLEXY and IE01FD1_PLEXZ) and in it the Resource with the desired system (IE01CTL/APL/X21, IE01CTL/APL/Y21 and IE01CTL/APL/Z21).

If an automation symbol can be defined instead of the system (X21, Y21 and Z21), the APL can be defined once, and the system can be specified with the automation symbol.

e.g. IE01CTL/APL/&AOCCLONE3.1

So the automation symbol &AOCCLONE3 can be defined in PlexX with X2, in PlexY with Y2 and in PlexZ with Z2.

It is not possible to define symbols for system names when doing the resource definition. This would become a problem in the policy build process.
Can you please share more details about your scenario? Do you want to express some kind of location constraints?
