Authentication based on a Client Certificate (SA Operation Rest Server)

The preference of using a certificate to authenticate instead of Basic Authentication like a username and password. For automating purposes you would prefer not to use Basic Authentication and instead use something like a Client Certificate, especially if you have a company that uses a password technology such as MFA where a token recycles every x seconds.

When automating processes which require SA Rest API actions such as Stopping or Starting a SA Resource we would like to see another way of authenticating such as client certificate-based authentication which is a common practice especially in larger companies.
