A trace parameter for zSA with a set-table verbose level

This is Tom Wai from TLS (Hong Kong Software Premium Support team) taking care of local z/OS accounts. Recently I had a monthly cases review meeting with HSBC's management team. In their memories, from time to time we suggested different trace settings for collecting diagnostic data in trouble-shooting their reported zSA problems. But then we requested another set of trace with added (higher) trace level / settings due to the collected trace data not sufficient for PD/PSI. They feel very frustrated with us in this area and would like to suggest if we can define something like a trace parameter with set-table different levels so that they can, say, pick the highest trace level at their own decision (at the expenses of more CPU cycles / system resource consumption, etc.) for capturing diagnostic data one-time-off sufficient for problem analysis. Let's say a trace level 1 would contain basic trace settings, level 3 would contain medium trace settings and level 5 would contain the most trace settings which should be good enough for tackling tough problems. Please review with the product development team and see if it is feasible to implement so as to simplify the trace setting with efficiency. Thanks.
