Support mixed case in configuration field „Startup Parameters“

Today data entered in the field “Startup Parameters” will be always translated to upper case. Allow to enter mixed case data in this configuration field.

    Hello,
you can enter the field in the ISPF-dialog panels AOFGDYNA (Information policy) and AOFGASTT (Startup policy) in those panels you are not able to enter the data in mixed case. The variable is intended to pass information to the start commands.
In the USS world it is essential to have the cabability of mixed case character which is supported in the AOFGDYNC panel (Start commands).
I hope this helps to clarify the RFE.
    Kind regards Franz-Georg

For USS application (category USS) mixed case data is supported for startup parameter. Did you try to specify mixed-case parameter for other application types?

It should be similar to the option in the MESSAGE CONFIG entry for an APL. You can specify whether or not the entry contains mixed case.

This would allow for existing customers not to have to review and update every entry. Default would be set to NO.

The same for the APPL PARMS entry.
