Stopping an Aplication Group

Is it possible to get a new flag with the INGREQ command to stop only the group? So, I can decide, if I want a propagation or not?

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - zSeries Software
Product - Tivoli System Automation for z/OS (SA z/OS)

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - Tivoli
    Product family - Automation
Product - Tivoli System Automation for z/OS (SA z/OS)

    Hallo Herr Wachholz,
thanks for providing the requested information. Your scenario is understood. Thanks also for offering your help to answer questions if they arise.
We will consider this RFE as a candidate for a follow-on release of SA z/OS, but we cannot give any commitment yet, when a solution will be available.
    Best Regards,
    Raimund Thielker

    Hello Mr. Thielker,
I have attached three sheets. On the first one, you can see, how I have defined the APG. On the second sheet, you can see, how I try to stop the APG Contrl_Gpg. When I try this, I can't see that SA stops also APG HSC_GRP. You can see that on sheet3.

If I try to stop Contrl_Grp with scope=only and override=dpy the application CONTROLM gets "Propagated action: MakeUnavailable " from the group. And all member of APG HSC_GRP are stopping.

If I try to stop only controlm with scope=only and override=dpy the application gets "Propagated action: MakeUnavailableSO" and only CONTROLM stops and all looks fine.

What I want is, to stop only the Group without stopping any realations of one or more member in that group. So all member needs the "Propagated Status" of MakeUnavailableSO. For me it's no correct, that I can't see that are more applications are stopping as I see on the verification panel.

I hope, you can understand what my problem is, because my English is not the best. If you need further information please call me. My phonenumber is: 02842-9070 359

    Best Regards
    Bernd Wachholz

    Guten Tag Herr Wachholz!
Could you give us some more information about the applications your are going to manage with the policy you are describing?
What are the member applications of that System-Basic-APG? You talk about an application having a relationship to one of the members.
Please let me know which applications that are, and which relationship is defined between the APG members and other applications outside of the APG.
I'd like to better understand the environment your are going to automate that way.
Thank you very much for your help!
    Best Regards,
    Raimund Thielker
