Pervasive Encryption reporting looking to report on Dataset Type and Last Use Date

Our company has mandated that Pervasive Encryption to be used on all data at rest. This means we have to set up reporting for the initial migration to PE, then ongoing compliance as keys/DFP Segment label changes.

In the reporting we have created we need to apply some filtering (SELECT/EXCLUDE). Not all dataset types can be encrypted and needs to be filtered from the report. There is no need to get dataset owners to chase datasets to be encrypted when they can’t be encrypted anyway. (i.e. PDSE’s cannot be encrypted)

The dataset may have a dataset profile with a DFP segment, but if the dataset was not recently allocated, then it’s not encrypted. Placing the dataset creation date in the report would be useful.

Look at cases TS019521661 and TS021213230 were created to talk with support about the data already existing in the CKFREEZE files. It was suggested the data was there, just no fields created to report on the data.
