ZWS Support for SMF Exit IEFU86

z/OS 2.3 introduced SMF Exit IEFU086, which is being recommended to use in place of IEFU83, IEFU84, and IEFU85 since it can handle the new extended SMF record header. IEFU86 is currently not documented nor is a customized sample version shipped with zWS.


IEFU86 might work with zWS, but has not been tested, so it is not officially supported.


We would like the use of IEFU086 to be officially supported along with a customized sample version to be provided with zWS.

    we also would like to deactivate the IEFU83 exit and use the IEFU86 instead (as recommended by IBM). Therefore we need a officially supported sample EQQU86 or something like this.
