Encrypting member in IWSz EQQPARM dataset without dynamically calling EQQBEX

In order for no one to be able to retrieve userIDs/Passwords from member in EQQPARM dataset containing userIDs and passwords for controlling access between IWSz and zCentric IWS-agent on distributed platform this dataset needs to be encrypted.

However, the encryption program, EQQUPTOP is calling module EQQBEX which is used in a number of other EQQ* programs.

In order to ensure conditional access to the EQQPARM dataset in question, both EQQUPTOP and EQQBEX will have to be defined into RACF program class.

This means, that all programs using EQQBEX will be using this module from library defined in the program class.

As a result of this we have the following challenges:

-       All programs using EQQBEX will be forced to use this module from specific libraries as defined in program-class.

-       This will require additional updates in program-class (and increase risk) during upcoming IWSz upgrades.

Can member in EQQPARM dataset be encrypted with a program not dynamically calling EQQBEX ?
Eg. can EQQUPTOP (only used for encryption) be created in a version that has EQQBEX code omitted or compiled into it ?

    We plan to implement alternative ways to implement authentication between controller and zCentric agents - as requested in ZWS-I-202
