ALLDEPS request may lock the corrent plan and cause delays

We have occasionally problem with the query of predecessors (Panel EAASOPSP) : SELECTING APPLICATION OCCURRENCE AND OPERATION INFORMATION option 9.
We have implemented the advised solution : a pop up panel reminding that the alldeps query is very (,VERY) cpu consuming. Sadly this solution is not enough and from time to Time we encounter authorized users that ignore this warning and do some query with a nesting of 999 and ALL details.
This cause a complete freeze of the instance up to one hour (or more on the most important tws's) as the current plan is locked during the research.
Now we are currently limiting in panel the EQQSOPSP the nesting to 9 on all our systems.
It would be preferable to have to possibility to do this individually (by instance) with a parm like OPCOPTS ALLDEPS xxx DETAIL NONE/ALL
This would allow deeper nesting on some test instances and prevent the most consuming researches on our productive systems.
