problem with user exit

We have a customer who is having an issue accessing his Endevor content via IDz. He's hitting content, just not his. He seems to be properly set up on the host configuration side. This suggests a problem with the multi Endevor Environment user exit.

Deducing the extent of one-dimensional arrays from the number of INIT values

The compiler allows character named constants without specifying the length. It would be nice to have the same applied to the extents of an one-dimensional array with INITs, just by specifying (*).
