CICS CSD INPUT: when application source code in synchronized, the CICS CSD updates are updated to project as well.

Customer wants to be able to somehow update CICS CSD as input to make/build process in an automated process. When CICS CSD is updated, or perhaps every time there is a SYNCHRONATION PROCESS of updated source code, a new CICS CSD input is provided in the make/build process. Currently, CICS CSD input is done manually by build configurator user requesting that the CICS CSD input is to be processed.

    Thank you for taking the time to suggest an enhancement to our product. Many of our product enhancements result from feedback from our customers, so your input is always very important to us. However, your request for enhancement is not currently aligned with our product strategy and vision and we have no plans to address your request in the near future. Again, thank you for your suggestion and continued support.

    Some additional information from development:

    CICS CSD information should be collected using our AD Connect for Mainframe Agents. In order to do this, AD Build Configuration should be triggered in batch mode and similar to SYNC Members, it will get the latest CICS CSD information from the host, information that will later on be used by the build process.

    So when it comes about having a project with CICS CSD information up to date, the following actions/tasks must be executed (in this ordeR)

    a. Get the CICS CSD information by invoking AD Build Configuration in Batch Mode
    b. Get the latest source code from the host (Synchronize process in batch mode)
    c. Run the Make to update the repository (in batch mode).
