IMS environments should be implemented for the AD PL1 compiler so AD would show the IBM DBs correctly used in PL1 programs.

Application Discovery (AD) Analyze Client doesn't show IMS DB names correctly in IMS/DB Usage analysis. This is because even though the PL1 compiler in AD Build Client recongnizes PLITDLI calls as calls to IMS databases, PCB parameters from the main procedure are not correctly mapped with PCBs from the PSB file. We request IMS environments be implemented for the AD PL1 compiler so AD would show the IBM DBs correctly used in PL1 programs.

    Chunghwa Post is one of IBM Taiwan's key clients. Half of their data is stored on IMS DB. If they cannot properly access the data on this platform, they will lose the motivation to continue using this product. We hope the product team can quickly provide this functionality.

    Our Taiwan clients also face this problem !! They cannot connect PL1 programs' call PLITDLI to the IMSDB in callgraph.
