System headers are not warning free when using qinfo=all with XL C/C++ compiler

When checking our own C/C++ source code I wanted to see strict warning checking behavior, to improve our source code. When using -qinfo=all a lot of warnings are raised by both C and C++ compiler. This RFE just shows a simple example for the C compiler.

Our wish is that the AIX system headers should be warning free, even when using -qinfo=all.

In our case, AIX 7.1 (7100-03-03-1415) was used, together with XL C/C++ V13.1 (13.1.0.3).

This RFE has been addressed in V13.1.3 and later.

This RFE was incorrectly marked as 'Delivered' on the basis that -qinfo=all has been implemented in V13.1.0.

The real concern that needs to be addressed via this RFE is the following informational message (even in V13.1.0) submitted via the attached test case:
1506-431 (I) The left-hand side of a bitwise &, |, or ^ expression is an unparenthesized relational, shift, or arithmetic expression which has a higher precedence.

As a result, we are re-opening this RFE and moving it to 'uncommitted candidate'.

This is still being considered for a future compiler mod release/version release.

Once this item is in plan, the RFE will be marked 'In Plan'.

Attachment (Description): Simple reproduction with C source file and Makefile containing flags that show system header warnings (va_start macro in this case).
