Exit points needed in the various reporting functions

The various reporting functions should have exit points that allow customers to use business specific information to tailor the report contents.

This RFE is satisfied by CICS CM 5.3 which is generally available from December 11th 2015.

We believe this requirement is addressed by the CSD-CSD compare function to be delivered in CICS CM V5.3. The transformation rules can be applied to resource definitions with the target CSD being a 'staging' CSD. The new CSD-CSD compare function can then be invoked.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Enterprise Tooling
    Product - CICS Configuration Manager

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Enterprise Tooling
    Product - CICS Configuration Manager

Following the conference call on 27th August, here is the current status:

    - Need to compare 2 CSDs across 2 different environments. The comparison needs to take into account differences based on transformation rules that have not yet been applied.

    - Exit point is requested as not every CM customer needs this capability.

    - CM development are already looking at an RFE (55063) that has similar use cases.

    - Applying transformation rules as part of comparison. Rules may be conditional so it is not just a comparison of attributes for all resources of a certain type such as Transactions.

As discussed during the conference call on 22nd May, please provide details of use cases. You mentioned that you needed to compare resources across CSDs based on tranformation rules that may not have been applied yet.
