This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

CICS CM allows for the addition of CICS resource definitions to either a CSD or BAS repository. However, CPSM definitions such as WLMSPEC, WLMGROUP, WLMDEF and TRANGRPs cannot be made through CICS CM.
Application Developers currently utilize CM to define resources whilst the CICS team has to undertake a separate task to define/install the transaction group into the active workload.
We would like to extend the functionality within CM to enable the Application Developers to also be able to maintain all the WLM definitions, or at least the transaction group in the active workload.

CICS Tools Offering Manager
Please note that CICS Configuration Manager does support create, update and delete for CICSPlex SM objects such as WLMSPEC, WLMGROUP, WLMDEF, TRANGRPs etc. The complete list of CSD and CPSM objects supported by CICS CM are listed in the Knowledge Center: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SS2L7A_5.4.0/com.ibm.cics.cm.doc/ccv-api-obj-cics.html
To work with CPSM WLM objects from the CICS CM ISPF interface, select Option 2 CICS Resources from the Main Menu. Then, next to the configuration that is defined for a CICSPlex SM data repository, type in W to work with WLM resources
or T for CICSPlex SM Topology objects. Please note that you will need to first define a CICS CM configuration for the CICSPlex SM repository. To do this, use Option 1, Administration from the ISPF Main Menu and then Option 2, Configurations. Type Def on the command line and provide a name for the configuration, such as CPSMRES. On the next panel, specify Option 1, CICSPlex SM Context and the name of the CICSPlex SM plex.
Please confirm you are able to work with the CICSPlex SM objects listed in the link above and I will close this RFE.
