CICS PA Plug-in integration with IBM DB2 Analytics Accelerator

CICS PA allows you to store data in DB2 tables. CICS PA Plug in can then query such data from the Explorer.

IBM DB2 Analytics Accelerator is the IBM strategic appliance for data intensive DB2 queries.

Lack of integration of CICS PA Plugin with IBM DB2 Analytics Accelerator is:
- Blocking the adoption of CICS PA Plug in and
- Conveying the idea of IBM DB2 Analytics Accelerator not being strategic for IBM.

With slight modification to the load utility data can be loaded to the appliance and can be queried with traditional instrumentation (QMF). At the stage, data cannot be queried form the Explorer.

    There has not been significant interest from CICS PA customers for this requirement.

    Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Enterprise Tooling
    Product - CICS Performance Analyzer

    For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Enterprise Tooling
    Product - CICS Performance Analyzer

    Error message when using the plug-in with the accellerator:

    .....60 bytes SQL stmt: SELECT * FROM DCICSPA.CPA_EXPLOR52 WHERE START_DATE='2015-05-05'

    DSNHATTR INSENSITIVE SCROLL WITH ROWSET POSITIONING FOR READ ONLY ......

    We have not seen any interest from other CICS PA customers for this requirement.
