Requeue Interval Control Elements in case of an AOR shutdown

When an application-owning region within a CICSplex workload is terminated, any existing region-related interval control request (a result of START TRANSID INTERVAL, e.g.) will be cancelled. However, the CICSplex workload remains active.

We would like to have CICS TS feature that preserves interval control requests of a terminated AOR, for instance by relating it to another AOR of the CICSplex workload involved.

    Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

    For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:

    This would not be a small amount of work as we would need to have a Interval Control Server and save the ICE's over there. Looking at current plans, it is not likely that this would be implemented in the next two CICS TS releases, so correspondingly this requirement is being rejected. You have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be considered then.
