Currently we use CPSM RTA extensively. We are going through a program of review and replacement, mainly with CICS Policies. However, CICS Policies do not currently check TDQ Count, so we cannot replace this yet. CICS Policies do check for similar things so hopefully the effort in adding the extra function will not be too onerous. It has been discussed in various forums (e.g. CAF) that customers should raise these issues as a precursor to the CPSM RTA function being deprecated by IBM. During these discussions it was mooted that existing customer functionality would be replicated elsewhere if necessary. Hence this idea/request from us.

Hello, thanks for raising the Idea.
To help us (IBM development team) to understand more of the requirement, I have some questions:
What kind of TDQ monitored in your RTA defintion? TDQ has intra-partition and extra-partition TDQ.
I assume TDQ count is NUMITEMS for intrapartition queues only. How is the count on this TDQ being used in your case?
Because a TDQ can be defined in a region as remote or as indirect, I assume the monitoring is only applicable to those not-remote, not-indirect intrapartition TDQ. Please let me know if this is the right assumption.
Thanks & regards,
Jenny
