CPSM WLM Enhancement

Customer needs an enhancement to the CPSM WLM Algorithm in order to improve the workload among the targets.
The customer has a single CICSPlex running across two Sysplexes. The environment is large enough that it not possible to merge the existing two Sysplexes into a single Sysplex. Besides, when the customer has tried to use the CPSM WLM Solution, the 15 seconds interval to refresh those non-SOW AOR`s Health has caused the batch mode effect in the workload distribution due to high volume of transactions during peak hours.
Another concern and request is ask IBM to consider new factors to be included in the CPSM WLM calculations in the route decision algorithm, in addition to the already used, such as CEC and LPAR CPU usage; QR CPU utilization and ratio. In this particular customer environment, when a LPAR CPU usage is above 90% there are other several problems not only with the CICS.

We have assessed this requirement. We have no current plans for this to be implemented and so this requirement is being declined at this point. The requirement will be kept in the RFE system and might be reassessed in the future. You also have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be reconsidered then.
