We have assessed this requirement. We have no current plans for this to be implemented and so this requirement is being declined at this point. The requirement will be kept in the RFE system and might be reassessed in the future. You also have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be reconsidered then.
This RFE is being accepted as a valid requirement and something we'd like to improve on, although it will not be possible to cover all potential cases caused by purging any task that are running on an Open TCB because of the CICS dispatcher architecture. We have improved the documentation so that tasks that are purged in this manner are easier to identify from the monitoring and that this information is easier to find in the Knowledge Center. However purging tasks should not be something that is done that often.

The missing clock values in CMF records after purge of tasks running on OPEN TCB are a nuissance. We use CMF for CPU accounting of our CICS tasks. If a runaway task is purged sometimes several minutes of CPU time are lost. We need these values for diagnosis as well.
