Enterprise Cobol (all version) - DYNAM option, find the entry point first in the loadmodule

When a program is compiled with the DYNAM option, the search for the entry point corresponding to the CALL statement is not performed in the loadmodule, even if this entry point was added during the linkedit by a command INCLUDE: the search is done only in steplib / joblib / linklist.

The Cobol runtime routines (IGZCFCC, IGZXFCA1) should first search the loadmodule / program object, before searching in steplib / joblib / linklist.

    Hi,

The solution to this issue would be to use DLL calls, instead of Dynamic calls.

    Please consider using the above.

    Thanks.

What we would like is a mechanism that allows the linkedit to transform a dynamic CALL into a static CALL.
ie that the called module is included in the loadmodule (which the BINDER INCLUDE directive does), and that this module is the one that is executed at the time of the run (which does not do the BINDER INCLUDE directive).

Our request 135571 can achieve the desired result.

Hi, we have evaluated this RFE and we have determined this is not how dynamic calls work.
The primary entry point and loadmodule name have to match. Otherwise, it does not become a dynamic call.
