Enterprise Cobol V6 - Add a clause to limit Table SORT to first elements

The SORT instruction is used to sort a memory table, but the table may not have been fully populated and only the first elements of the table must be sorted.

The SORT instruction should have a clause allowing to indicate which elements are to be sorted, without imposing to have an OCCURS DEPENDING ON clause at the table level (which moreover can have an impact on performance).

    Hi,

After discussing this further, we believe that OCCURS DEPENDING ON is the Standard defined solution to this problem.
In addition ODO has minimum to no performance impact for the sample testcase mentioned in the RFE.

As a result, we are rejecting this RFE.
