This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Our CTG customer has requested that CTG for z/OS be enhanced to issue a WTO command every x minutes prior to the CTG SSL server certificate expiring. The customer wants to define a JVM property such as com.ibm.ctg.ssl.certificate.expiration.warning=(30,60) where 30 is days and 60 is minutes. In this example, CTG would issue a WTO every 60 minutes beginning 30 days prior to the CTG SSL server certificate expiring. If the com.ibm.ctg.ssl.certificate.expiration.warning JVM option is not defined then CTG will not issue any WTO certificate expiration warning messages. The customer is currently running CTG 9.3 and would like this enhancement added as a PTF or as a Fix Pack.

Hi,
z/OS Health Checker provides a feature using which all the certicates can be validated if they are about to expire. RACF_CERTIFICATE_EXPIRATION Parameter can be used to do the same. Will this solve your need or is there a different use case. Kindly let us know.
