Dynamic alter ctg maximum connection managers MAXCONNECT (other)

See this idea on ideas.ibm.com

Ability to alter dynamically the connection manager maximum (MAXCONNECT), dynamically to avoid bounce of CTG to change the .ini file. This would allow for changes to be done on the fly.

We do have multiple instances of the gateway, to stager recycles but interested in doing dynamic, and harden in .ini for next scheduled bounce of the CTG Gatewy.

/f ctga,set maxconnect=nnn

/f ctga,set maxworker=nnn

/f ctga,set maxheap=nnn

these types of thing,

Alternatively, a dynamic refresh of gateway .ini, like the refresh of the High Availability exit .ini file?

Thanks.

Thanks for raising this valueable idea. This relates to dynamic refresh of configuration parameters of CICS TG. This comes under a larger umbrella of being able to dynamically refresh the CICS TG instances for any config change. We are considering it for future development.

    Thanks.
