file manager compare utility - need ability to exclude columns or fields

We need the ability to do a change detect on an extract of a table that is reloaded every day. The update timestamp is changed so we would like to exclude that from the compare.

    This RFE is now very old. The request for more information was concerning the fact that you can select the fields for compare thus you can exclude the timestamp already and this has always been the case.
    If you are not able to achieve this then raise a PMR as this capability is in the product. We are closing this RFE as this function is available as described.

    What additional information is needed? The status shows "needs more information", but it is not clear what is needed.

    Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Development Tooling
    Product - IBM File Manager

    For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Enterprise Tooling
    Product - IBM File Manager

    With FM/Db2 export, you can de-select columns to be exported.
    Alternatively, one could produce a mapping for the template to be used with the extracted data being compared, that excludes fields.
