Our ERP Development will be using the Rational RDi Version 9.5.1 environment. We noticed that the Host Connection Emulation was an option that would allow us to integrate our "green screen" sessions within the Rational workspace. It works very well and the screen definition is very crisp and sharp.
The downside to using HCE is that there are very few controls in place for modifying the display session, aside from assigning the Control Keys and setting up macros. It would be great to have the capability of assigning colors, fonts and cursor types (Block/Line), etc.
We currently use IBM's ACS product for our emulation sessions and that work very well, but there is a great advantage in having our sessions integrated into our RDi workspace.
I would appreciate it if you could implement these capabilities into the Host Connection Emulator. I'm sure it would be an options that many development teams would utilize.

One area that I would definitely use this is that currently with CA emulator sessions I have different colour fonts for production and development. This helps me to avoid confusions as to which system I'm on.
