IDz - Extend dataset 'search' capabilities

Hello

In RSE perspective, it is not straight forward search to list the files like how we usually perform in 3.4 ISPF listing. Ctrl + F doesn't help much, however there is a locate option that works a bit within the filters. But we think this search capabilities in IDz could be extended further in order to be even more user friendly for the developers.

Recently we ran a proof of concept in IDz and this is one of the feedback from the dev-community. As per IBM representative's answer, this RFE is being raised as it looks to be nice feature to improve in the upcoming IDz release.

    Again, thank you for submitting a request for enhancement, we value all suggestions made by our clients. This is a follow up to the last request for response, if we do not get a reply we will assume you have what you need and process the enhancement to closure.
    After review this RFE we realize we could use more details to fully understand the request. Would you mind providing some examples of what you are trying to do and what the result is along with what you would expect the result to be?

After review this RFE we realize we could use more details to fully understand the request. Would you mind providing some examples of what you are trying to do and what the result is along with what you would expect the result to be?

    We are also curious if you have attempted the retrieve DataSet feature or if you have tried using remote z/OS search or remote z/OS file search and what you thought about those features?
