Add feature to open Sequential flat files from JCL Editor window

Currently only PDS members can be opened directly from within JCL that is opened with the JCL Editor. You can move your cursor to the member name and right-click and you have the option to open, view, browse.

With flat files there is no option to do this. Both file types should have this functionality.

Thank you for submitting this idea. Based on your description, it sounds like the functionality you're looking for might align with the capabilities of the System z Data Editor or File Manager for handling flat files. These tools offer robust options for viewing and working with data, including the ability to manage and interpret non-printable characters effectively.

Here are some resources that might be helpful to explore:

If these tools do not meet your specific requirements, we would be happy to explore this enhancement further. Thank you for your feedback and continued engagement with our product!
