This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Delivered with RDz 8.5
Planned for RDz release
The Ctrl key, Print Screen key, Scroll Lock, etc... SHOULD ALL be mappable keys like they are in other emulators such as EXTRA or RUMBA. Without this it makes using the emulator a cumbersome experience.
In my evaluations of rdz i find the inability to map keys a bit better especially the CTRL key (right or left) to be a small hinderance in my acceptance of this product. I would specifically like to map the right ctrl key to .
This RFE is consistent with our strategy and product roadmap and IBM is continuing to evaluate.
Eclipse controls mapping so rerouting this RFE.
Within The RDz product we are having this issue where you cannot unmap the Ctrl key from enter.
This causes a problem where any time one uses a shortcut within the Host Connection Emulator such as Ctrl+C for Copy enter will automatically be triggered. This can cause significant issues on a mainframe system. This is a large drawback to using the emulator within the RDz product as it is potentially dangerous.
We are in the middle of a Proof of concept or RDz at my organization and this is a drawback as we would like to remove our current emulator if we adopt RDz.
