RSE - 'New... Filter' to allow multiple datasets to be associated with 'filter' via pull down menu/wild character

The way 'liters' are defined today feels awkward to me. First I need to type dataset name and then. one the next screen, 'filter' name. I propose this: First define 'filter' name, then via pull down menu define all the datasets that you want to be associated with this ?filter'. Also, option to define datasets using wild character. This way if I want all my *listing datasets to be under ?LISTING' folder, I can easily do it.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Programming Languages
Product - Developer for System z

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:

Product family - Design & development
Product - Developer for System z

The mechanism to define a filter allows the specification of one string as part of the filter criteria. But once the filter is created, user can Right Click on the filter created, goto Properties --> Filter Strings and click on the New Filter string to create a new one to be added to the existing filter.
