Outline view is meant for handling and displaying the outline / structure of the source that is being edited, but we are working on another feature that will show all the data elements listed in the source and its copy books - and that would address the use case being requested.
Good remark. This RFE was opened afer PMR 23138,300,624 where we considered copybooks containing data element definitions only (file layout for exampe). But we should be able to expand any copybook.
We need some clarification on this RFE. In your environment do you primarily have data element definitions in the copy books or do you have source code as well. Thanks.
