Automation to import workspace settings between versions of IDz

Thru this RFE, request IBM team to consider providing an option that can help to migrate settings from past work space to the new work space.

In the current world, we recommend develops to either 1) make a copy of their existing work space and use it with new version of IDz. However, this has some limitations in the sense that one of other functionality in the new IDz doesn't work in this case. A known example is CICS SM no longer working when associate use work space from an old release.
or
2) Start with a fresh work space with the new version of IDz. However import all settings from the old work space by first exporting such things from the old tool and then exporting them to the new work space. This option works fine with no issues but it is a manual step and at times developers need help to get things extracted and imported to the new work space.

A common request from many developers is to get this step automated. We discussed this in recent monthly connect with IBM and IBM team recommended to open an RFE and hence this request.

Hello, checking back once more if you had seen our previous comment and question?

"Thank you for submitting this RFE. As we were reviewing it some questions came up regarding your comment about CICS SM no longer working. Would you be able to elaborate on this more? We're also curious if you had reached out to the CICS team about this prior to this RFE?"

Without further input and discussion we won't be able to progress, so looking forward to your input. If we don't hear back we'll go ahead and close this out.
