Generate DBD and PSB in XML format from IMS Catalog

Hi,

We are looking to generate DBD and PSB source from IMS Catalog in XML format. We are aware that GUR call generates that. But it is not in the standard desired format and also we cannot generate for bulk components like we have several thousands of PSBs and hundreds of DBDs. We have tried in IMS Explorer and it is also not viable for mass generation.

We are looking if you can provide us a batch utility which can issue GUR calls for a selected list of databases/PSBs and format it in industry standard XML way and write it in a PDS as members.

Or, you may enhance the DDL Generation Batch Utility to generate XML source for the given DBDs/PSBs.

    I am excited to share with you that your requested enhancement RFE ID 144465 is supported with IMS Explorer today.

    To use the function, create an IMS Explorer project and import PSBs/DBDs from the catalog. In the project folder you will find files with .psb and .dbd extensions. Those files contain the xml representation of those objects.
