Thank you for submitting this IMS enhancement request.
After giving the request a comprehensive review and consulting with another group, we have determined that we cannot include it as a candidate in an upcoming release because it is not consistent with the product architecture and our strategy for future releases.
This is the guidance from another IBM group:
"The IMS definition is that the buffer pool is assumed to be mixed if 'type' isn't specified on the VSRBF= parameter. There is no readily available data in IMS or available to OMEGAMON IMS which buffers are mixed and which aren't since every data buffer has the potential to be "mixed" the next time a database is opened. "
As a consequence we have, unfortunately, rejected this request.
We appreciate your input to the IMS development team. We also hope that you will continue to submit ideas for improvements as customer feedback is a key component to shaping the future direction of IMS.

Transferring back to the IMS Dev org as OMEGAMON IMS does not have the needed data / flags to determine what values to set it to. IMS itself would need to add the data we need first.
