modify the MSDB-to-DEDB Conversion utility (DBFUCDB0)

hi

would like to know if you can modify the utility to correctly report the record count for
databases with more than 32K database records because larger record
counts cause it to wrap and/or be interpreted as a negative binary
number.

it would be helpful to be sure that the conversion tool process all of the input records.

for example, got a db with 246708 input records and the utility shows that 15436 was processed. ive opened a ticket related to this and they have confirmed me that all of the input records was processed and it could be a good idea to open a request for you related to this.

we plan to convert many db's and could be helpful to update this tool to show us the right infos.

we use ims version 11.

    Hello. Is there a PMR associated with this request? If not, could you please open one. We will treat this like a defect, and solve via an apar. Once you have a PMR number, please let me know so we can request an apar.
