To allow one to Unload an IMS Database with the option of Deferring EPS/ILK Load when Migrating from FF to HALDB

It is useful because it reduces the time from days to minutes to unload FF Databases using MIGRATE or MIGRATX, literally. (If you get it work like BMC of course). In a recent exercise, one of the MIGRATE Unloads had been running for 4 days. We would not be able to sell the idea of the Production Application not being available for 4 days.

    Given other priorities, we are unable to deliver this function in the next 18-24 months. The customer has worked with IBM IMS Support to successfully convert a PDF to HALDB in the timeframe needed.
