Ability to control which version of IMS Explorer can connect to a IMS system

We would like the ability to control what IMS Explorer Releases our installation considers valid to connect to a IMS System. We would also like a way to send IMS Explorer users as brief notification at connect time.

    Dear Stephen McAuliffe:

Thank you for submitting this IMS enhancement request.
After giving the request a comprehensive review, we have determined that we cannot include it as a candidate in an upcoming release because the request has a high implementation cost with a low relative value. As a consequence we have, unfortunately, rejected this request.

One option for controlling the version of IMS Explorer used by your staff would be to leverage the Installation Manager Packaging Utility to internally host the install repository for the tested version of IMS Explorer. Please see this link for that information

We appreciate your input to the IMS development team. We also hope that you will continue to submit ideas for improvements as customer feedback is a key component to shaping the future direction of IMS.

    Sincerely,
    Nate Church
