Have the way / possibility (i.e. a Command) to verify online who / what is occupying the WKAP Pool

As a consequence of the fact Customer randomly suffers WKAP Pool shortage condition, which in the past even lead to an ABENDU0729 then corrected (Pmr 80256,830,758 - Fixed through Apar PK88043), and recently lead to message DFS2026 INSUFFICIENT STORAGE AVAILABLE IN MAIN POOL (WKAP) TO PROCESS COMMAND being received for any attempt to issue a Command, even if he is monitoring WKAP Pool via a OEM Monitor, Customer would like to have a way to know the cause of WKAP being filled up, the possible main contributor, so that he may take specific actions to solve the constrain.

    Dear Gianmario,

Thank you for submitting this IMS enhancement request.
After giving the request a comprehensive review, we have determined that we cannot include it as a candidate in an upcoming release because it is not consistent with the product direction. As a consequence we have, unfortunately, rejected this request.

The storage manager that manages the WKAP (MAIN) pool does not keep track of who owns the storage in the WKAP pool, or what the storage is being used for.  We do not have plans to enhance the storage manager to keep track of that information or to provide a command to display that information.

We appreciate your input to the IMS development team.  We also hope that you will continue to submit ideas for improvements as customer feedback is a key component to shaping the future direction of IMS.

    Sincerely,
    Janna Mansker
