Enhancement in SSM configuration member

When you have a lot of Subsystem (DB2, MQ), you have to manage SSM File in order to use one or multiple subsystem.
If you define all your susbsytem in one member, you need to define security access for this subsystem (READ access at least). For security and audit, we can't give READ access to all the susbsystem
If you define different SSM member, it will complicate your comprehension of your architecture with many file.

One idea .. concatenate SSM member in the PROCLIB of region like SSM=(xx,yy,zz) ?

    Thank you for your interest in keeping IMS a vital and successful product. Software development has continuously evolved during IMS's lifetime, and so has IMS itself. We have kept pace with, adopted, and implemented many industry standard best practices within our organization, including Continuous Delivery, Design Thinking, and Agile.

    When choosing new features to add from the list of requirements in our backlog, we assess which will bring the most value to as many clients as possible and prioritize those.

    At this time, after further review this request for enhancement, we have decided to reject it. The reason we are rejecting the Idea IMSTM-I-326 is because given our current priorities we cannot in good faith get to this within 18 months from the date that it is being opened. We value the idea and we will keep consider if priority changed.
