Need some help from IMS to modify the command processor to scan actual existing destinations in IMS

IMS provided some support years ago to clear a flag which indicates output present ( and prevents TPIPE deletion ) when a DISPLAY TPIPE QCNT command is issued in IMS, and QCF was enhanced to issue the command.
Unfortunately, this would never work, because the IMS command processor doesn't scan through TPIPEs existing on the system where command was issued but rather scans the shared queue for OTMA TPIPE destinations and only processes the queues that contain messages. Since QCF just deleted the messages, the command skips TPIPEs that exist in IMS but have no messages queued on shared queues, and does not reset the flag that prevents the IMS system checkpoint from deleting the TPIPEs.
This RFE requests IMS command processor to scan actual existing destinations in IMS, rather than start from what's actually on the shared queue.

    Hi,

Thank you for your interest in keeping IMS a vital and successful product. Software development has continuously evolved during IMS’s lifetime, and so has IMS itself. We have kept pace with, adopted, and implemented many industry standard best practices within our organization, including Continuous Delivery, Design Thinking, and Agile.

When choosing new features to add from the list of requirements in our backlog, we assess which will bring the most value to as many clients as possible and prioritize those.

After reviewing this request for enhancement and assessing its potential value, our decision is to open an APAR to address this issue. The APAR we have created in PH23945. We believe this is a more appropriate action for this item given the details provided.

    Have a great day!
