IBM Intellimagic Coupling Facility Structure reporting should matchup with TSO SDSF Command "/D CF" that provides accurate information of CF Structure MB, Dump Space MB, Free Space MB and Total Space MB.

    • We must absolutely calculate and reserve memory on the secondary CF in your preference list (PREFLIST) during your capacity planning.

    • All Mainframe Customers where Coupling Facility Performance and Capacity Planning is important

    In addition TSO SDSF "/D CF" command provides LPAR NAMED e.g. RPRDCF7 and Remotely Connected CF CFNAME e.g. RPRDCF8.  So it appears these are paired.  If that is the case would like to submit and IBM Idea to Intellimagic development to report them as paired and as indicated in the attached excel spreadsheet table derived from Fidelity RPLEX TSO SDSF "D CF" command.

    1. Have attached screenshot of excel table derived from Fidelity Mainframe TSO SDSF command "/D CF" that accurately reports out RPLEX CF memory Allocated MB and Free MB which differs noticeably on what is reported by Intellimagic.
    2. Need IBM Intellimagic team to validate the accuracy of CF memory allocation MB and Free MB as we are carrying out CG memory capacity planning sizing associated with z17 upgrade and additional demands for CF memory for certain production CF structures.
    3. IBM Idea for Intellimagic CF reporting to tell us whether CG structure is Simplex or Duplex.
    4. IBM Idea to IBM Intellimagic CF reporting and analysis to determine if secondary CF has enough unallocated free memory to accept the CF structure if a rebuild occurs.
