Include the packlist in the downloads with HOLDDATA & SMPPTFIN

When using RFNJOBS for downloading the HOLDDATA & SMPPTFIN, it would be ideal to include the packlist with it. Due to the HOLDDATA & SMPPTFIN are compressed or encrypted & not readily readable, the packlist is a quick way to identify the contents of the order. I currently do this manually, however, for the sake of convenience it would be nice to make it part of the download when receiving orders. Including packlist in the same directory as the holddata & smpptfin will self document the order in the ZFS, making it easy to manage the disk space in the ZFS. easy to search for what to delete, retain & process as input. based on PTF & holddata searches. this also reduces the amount of work needed to document the contents of the directory in the ZFS.

Thank you very much,

Ed

Please reconsider. currently, I download the packlist to the same directory to identify the contents of the directory.

if the packlist is automatically saved in the download directory it will automatically document the contents of the directory. we will know what to receive & reduce the amount fo shopz order for duplicated orders. Thanks, Ed

Hi, this request cannot be addressed by the ShopZ team , as this functionality is maintained by the eFactory system. They told me the request should be reviewed by product management. So I send the request to product management to follow up.
I redirected the request to them for following up, as there is not a queue here to reassign.

I've used this process before and I think adding a packlist is a great idea.

Using SHOPZ, we order service such as RSU then download the SMPHOLD & SMPPTFIN using the RFNJOBS. This job will execute an SMP/E RECEIVE FROMNETWORK .... TRANSFERONLY.... The output of this SMP/E process will store a USS directory contents with file names SMPHOLD & SMPPTFIN etc.. in this same directory. the PACKLIST or packing list file can be included. Thanks, Ed

Hello, I am sorry I am not familiar with the process you describe. Could you please include more information, in which part of ShopZ do you run the job? Where do you select : HOLDDATA & SMPPTFIN? Could you provide screenshot or a recording or how do you make this download process ?
