Discrepancy for column timestamp in table DS_ACTIVITY_%

Recently we started to use the Data Set Component. Something seems strange with the column timestamp used in tables DS_ACTIVITY_%.
The only timestamp collected is the one of job start time, that is from
fields SMF14RSD,SMF14RST. But for a long running STC, this doesn't help very much, because we dont find any reference to the real open/close timestamp of the dataset , information that would be very much useful.
Could it be possible to add it in the table?
