Support Agent Forwarding for TN3270-Connections

We got the requirement to connect to our TN3270-servers via a "control-point" (another Server that behaves like a proxy but records the connection).

Example for other text-based connections: For SSH, the software "PuTTY" offers a functionality called "agent forwarding". We connect to SSH-Servers like this: "ssh-server@control-point". The connection to the ssh-server gets automatically established via the contol-point.

    Hello Leon Voet,

    Can you please provide the following clarifications?

    1. Are you asking for Agent Forwarding feature supported by SSH protocol in PCOMM? Please confirm.
    2. Or, is the requirement about providing proxy server support, where TELNET packets are routed through the proxy server?

    I am asking this question because, Agent Forwarding is not supported in TELNET protocol.
    We will review this requirement after hearing from you.
