Free Eclipse EGL plugin for EGL Parts Reference & EGL Parts List

Kaiser currently has a VAGen code review process that entails the printing of a VAGen program to a PDS on the mainframe. Reviewers then access this PDS to review VAGen code for adherence to standards. The reviewers do not have VAGen client workstations.

They need to keep a version of this process in effect after migrating to EGL. The current print process is antiquated and inefficient for viewing EGL code. We want to develop e new process that allows the reviewers to use an Eclipse IDE to review the EGL code.

An free Eclipse plugin for the EGL Parts Reference and the EGL Parts List would satisfy this need.

Many other CSP and VAGen customers (as well and and EGL customers) would benefit from this plugin.

    This capability is availabe with EGL Community Edition. While EGL CE is primarily focused on Rich UI applications, the IDE does support all EGL part types. Therefore it can be used for the scenario described in this RFE.
