This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

i'm facing, several times now, since i start coding with RPP a problem with data creation/ modification.
With PACBASE data elements, "segments" and data structure were defined in to libraries. The libraries itselves were hierarchicaly organized in a waterfall view. The developer could only have access to data elements defined in "upper" libraries.
Now in RPP the view from the libraries is a flat all libraries seems to be on the same level. They're displayed as projects. Fine, but the software continue to enforce the rules depicted upwards !
Unfortunately developers tends to create new data in the same libraries than their code as they see all the projects on the same level of the tree. And so the data are no longer sharable with others libraries. So i spent these days some hours to migrate data segments and update the data structures to fill the gap.

We have evaluated this request and determined that it cannot be implemented at this time because it will be to complicated to represent the hierarchical view of several projects and you have already some actions to represent and filter the content of the design explorer.
Attachment (Description): The expected waterfall view of the structured library system available thru an tricky path (Thanks Bernard to have show it to me).
