SMU to operate with APIML

Launching SMU plug-in from ZOWE. We are running the SMU software as a Linux application in a z/OS Container Extension (zCX). The ZOWE software is running as a Started Task (STC) on a z/OS LPAR. We chose to do this to save on general purpose CPU MIPS and to reduce our licensing costs. When we try launch the SMU desktop from ZOWE it fails to load the page with X-Frame-Options issue. Case TS009203029 was opened and after some investigation it was mentioned to run SMU and ZOWE on the same LPAR. We would not like to do this due to the mentioned cost savings. It was also mentioned that "SMU does not use APIML, so APIML_CORS_ENABLED will have no effect. SMU cannot use APIML, because it breaks out of APIML proxy (absolute URLs rather than relative). That would need an SMU fix to operate with APIML, which is a possible long-term fix if their codebase allows for it." This would be a preferable alternative for us as we would like to continue exploiting the benefits of zCX in our current setup as well as ZOWE and SMU.
