Send alerts that were produced from events while zAlert was not active

It would be very helpful if for any reason zAlert is down for a period of time, any alert that would have been generated otherwise, to be able to be sent to a defined destination. This way, no alert recording will be lost. The batch job that is used to test the configuration (Test an alert configuration - IBM Documentation) could be enhanced so as to include also the destination of the alerts instead of just the sysout. Or, zAlert could provide panels that can be used to send these alerts retrospectively.

    That is a matter of deleting two/three lines:

    option syslogtofile snmptofile cmdtofile wtotofile
    /* force C2RSYSLG in EBCDIC */
    fileoption dd=c2rsyslg encoding=ebcdic

    and selecting the right time period

    Is it sufficient if we add a comment to the member?

    The specific request is that C2PCTEST instead of sending the alerts to the various DD statements, to be able to send the alerts to the actual targets, for example a QRadar or CEF log server, WTO etc.

    Currently, the C2PCTEST sample job can be used to select SMF records from the inactive period. What is the specific request?
