Option to tolerant uninitialised / SPACE data in numberic fields during dataxform transformation

z/OS Connect will reject a data stream if any field does not comply with the data types as defined in the Copybook. The customer application response messages may contain SPACES in numeric fields under certain circumstances by design and will fail instantly in zOS Connect during dataxform. The customer would like to have the option to instruct zOS Connect to continue constructing the response message with a default value for the field in question, ignoring the error, instead of throwing an exception and stop processing immediately.

The new function just made available in zCEE for handling empty tags only handles LOW-VALUES for numeric fields, but not SPACES - which didn't solve this problem at this customer.

    This requirement is addressed by z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition V3.0, and in V2.0.8.0 (APAR PI79272).

    This enhancement is controlled by the DATA-SCREENING parameter of the BAQLS2JS, and BAQJS2LS utilities
