Zos Connect API requestor support for RAML service documentation

zOS connect API requestor currently consumes request and response json as swagger input. API gateway such as Mulesoft publish documentation as RAML which means they cannot simply be consumed by zOS Connect.

The requirement is to enable zCEE to consume RAML directly or provide a solution to convert to swagger for consumption.

    Thank you for this RFE.

    The strategic direction of z/OS Connect EE is to move towards supporting OpenAPI Spec 3.0. OAS 3.0 is the place where the market is moving to and the point where Swagger and RAML will converge:

    In the meantime there are a number RAML to Swagger 2.0 conversion tools available. We are unfortunately unable to make a public recommendation here, however a quick web search on "raml to swagger converter" shows a number of potential options for you to assess.

    Given that RAML is not the strategic future choice for us, and there are options available for conversion to swagger 2.0 for the near term, this RFE is correspondingly being rejected at this time.

    Please feel to raise an RFE for OAS 3.0 if you feel that you would need it in future, given the convergence of RAML and Swagger stated above.
